How it works

Set it up once. Stop worrying.

Works with the spreadsheet you already have. No need to move your data anywhere.

Pick your date column

Open DueSoon from the Extensions menu, then choose the sheet and the column with your due dates.

Choose when to remind

30 days before, a week before, on the day, or once it's overdue. Send to an email in each row, to fixed addresses, or both.

Turn on the schedule

DueSoon checks the sheet every day and sends reminders automatically. Rows marked "done" are skipped.

Built to be reliable

The boring details, handled

A missed renewal costs real money. DueSoon is designed so reminders go out, once, every time.

Never sends twice

Every reminder is logged, so sorting, filtering or editing your sheet never triggers duplicates.

Catches up automatically

If a scheduled run is ever skipped, the next run sends what was missed.

Preview before sending

See exactly who will be emailed today, and send yourself a test, before anything goes out.

Personal emails

Write the message once and pull in any column: {{Client}}, {{Amount}}, {{due_date}}.

Recurring dates

Monthly rent, quarterly filings, yearly renewals. DueSoon rolls each date forward for you.

Private by design

Only accesses the spreadsheet you install it in. No external servers, and your data never leaves Google.

What people receive

Clear reminders that link straight to the row

Emails come from your own Google account, so recipients see a sender they recognise and replies come straight back to you.

  • Smart timing: remind 30 days ahead, again a week before, then on the day.
  • Escalation: loop in a manager automatically when something goes overdue.
  • Daily digest: one tidy email per person instead of many.
  • Audit trail: a log tab records every reminder that was sent.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Who are the reminder emails sent from?

From the Google account of the person who turned on the daily schedule, using Google's own mail service. Google limits how many emails an account can send per day: about 100 recipients for personal Gmail accounts and 1,500 for Google Workspace accounts.

Which date formats work?

Real date cells work best. Text dates like 2026-11-30, 30/11/2026, 11/30/2026 and 30 Nov 2026 are understood too, and you choose day-first or month-first for ambiguous ones.

How do I stop reminders for finished items?

Choose a status column and the words that mean finished ("done", "paid", "renewed"…). Ticked checkboxes count too. Those rows are skipped.

Can I see what was sent?

Yes. A hidden tab called "_DueSoon log" lists every reminder with its time and recipients.

Does DueSoon store my spreadsheet data?

No. DueSoon runs entirely inside Google. It only accesses the spreadsheet you install it in, and nothing is sent to our servers. See the privacy policy.

How do I cancel Pro?

Click "Billing" at the bottom of the DueSoon sidebar to open the Stripe billing portal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
